ArtViva Festival April 29th

On Thursday, April 29th, Artviva will be hosting their Cultural Festival once again.

Remember, if you’ve already signed up for any of our tours, you are exclusively invited to the 5:30 Meet Artists and Writers section of the festival!

This Thursday at 5:30, we’ll be showcasing artist Leo Mancini-Hresko .His paintings have been exhibited throughout the United States and Europe, with some of the more notable taking place in Florence, London, Santa Fé, Nantucket, Dublin, and New York. You’ll have a chance to meet him, ask him questions, and possibly buy one of his pieces.

At 6:00 we’ll present Count Niccolo Capponi.He is an erudite PhD scholar-Count that  belongs to an important Florentine noble family which traces its roots to the thirteenth century. His ancestor Ferrante Maria Capponi was given the title of count by the Holy Roman Emperor in 1701, but well before that time the family was politically involved in Renaissance Florence. Hear his fascinating stories about family history and life as a count.

At 7:00 we’ll be presenting A Unique and Easy Event to learn How to Taste Wine which the Count will be conducting. Learn what makes Tuscany’s wines great with this fun and easy “class” on how to appreciate wine. This is a not-to-be missed occasion!
