Open Day of Gardens and Courtyards in Florence

Tomorrow (Sunday May 23) is a very special day in Florence. The city will host Toscana Esclusiva ? Firenze Aperte, Giardini, Cortili (Exclusive Tuscany ? Open Day of Gardens and Courtyards in Florence). This is an annual event in which the normally private gardens and courtyards of Florence are open to the public for free.

This free event is a truly wonderful way to spend a day in Florence. Artviva clients can ask at our office in Florence for a list of the gardens and courtyards that will be open tomorrow.

One garden that should not be missed is the garden of the Palazzo Corsini al Prato. This garden was started in the seventeenth century and is one of the most significant gardens in Florence. The Corsini family is one of the most important noble families of Florence and this is a wonderful opportunity to stroll through their private garden.

Prince Duccio Corsini and his family live in this magnificent Renaissance palace. Prince Corsini is uniquely qualified to talk about Italian life and what makes Italy ? Italy. Artviva is proud to collaborate with him at our Festival evenings where our clients can hear him speak and sample his world famous wines nightly (Monday through Friday) at our office on Via Sassetti in the heart of Florence.
