Festivale di Maggio&Ball in Honour of Maestro Zubin Mehta

The Maggio di Vino Committee is arranging its seventh consecutive Wine Auction in support of the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.

This year for the occasion of the inauguration of the Festivale di Maggio (May Festival) and fund raising Ball in honour of Maestro Zubin Mehta, honorary lifetime Director of the orchestra of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.  Celebrating Maestro Zibun Mehta’s birthday, the event will be held Friday, April 29, 2011 at 10.00pm, and will be hosted in the in the splendid setting of the seventeenth century Villa Le Corti, home of the Prince Corsini. Proceeds from the evening will go to the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.
