Latest Autumn Fashion from Italy: dressing like an onion?

Dressing like an onion - the latest fashion in Italy!

When the seasons start to change, the Italians have  a lovely way to express how you should dress: ‘come una cipolla’ – like an onion.

The saying perfectly captures the idea of layering so that when the mornings are lovely and crisp, you are nice and warm, and when the sun warms things up a little, you just ‘peel off’ another layer.

As to whether or not dressing like other fruits or vegetables will take off in this season’s fashion, we’ll keep you up to date on that.

For now, we’re enjoying the great weather in Italy – wonderfully cool in the night to ensure a great night’s rest, warming up to great gelato weather in the day!
