25th April is la Festa della Liberazione Italiana Liberation Day in Italy.

It commemorates the anniversary of the 1945 end of the Italian Social Republic led by Mussolini, who was captured a few days later as he attempted to flee.

In Italy today, the 25th April is a public holiday when many stores are closed.

Panzano in Chianti: Festa della Stagion Bona, medieval costume parade.

Parrana S.Martino: Festa di Primavera (Spring Festival) including walks in the hilly Tuscan countryside.

Pistoia: Festa di Primavera (Spring Festival) – traditional fair dedicated to agricultre, gardening, animals, plants and flowers.
