In Venice, in Love: Gianni Berengo Gardin

With his exceptional ability to capture images from life in the most poetic of ways, it is no wonder that Gianni Berengo Gardin has become one of Italy’s most loved photographers.

Born in Liguria in 1930, Gianni Berengo Gardin’s career has spanned almost 60 years. His works have been exhibited in some of the world’s most lustrous exhibition spaces around the world including New York (the Museum of Modern Art and Guggenheim Museum), Paris (National Library), Germany, Switzerland ( Museo dell’Elysée) and, of course, Italy.

130 works by Gianni Berengo Gardin will be on display as part of a retrospective being held at the Casa dei Tre Oci at Giudecca 43, Venice, from 1 February to 12 May, 2013, daily from 10:00 to 19:00 (closed Tuesdays).
